Family Trees available on this Website

There are several subsections within this part of the website:-

  1. Box Charts with full Index - this part has been produced using John Cardinal's superb "SecondSite" software and contains a considerable amount of information on all non-living family members together with clear box-charts for each of the families concerned. Only the names of living family members are included, not details of dates and places. A "living" person is somewhat loosely defined as one who is under 100 years old and not definitely known to have died. Amazingly the whole of this section was generated by SecondSite from my TMG database in just 99 seconds.

This section currently includes 74 family trees of very varying sizes. Each is produced in "line and box" format and every persons name in these diagrammatic trees links to as much detail as is currently available (within the privacy rules mentioned above). Increasingly, you will also find links to transcriptions of family census entries (click on the camera symbol) or even, occasionally, a link to a pdf format transcription of a marriage certificate. With the exception of a few 1881 census items, all these transcriptions are from images of the original documents and have not gone through repeated copying from source to index to index.

A list of the available trees can be found by clicking on "Box charts with full index" above and then on "Charts".
  2.

  3. Typed trees - these will be incorporated into the section above as soon as time permits.
  4.

  5. Speculative trees - these trees are built up from publically available data within the UK. These are not offered as hard and fast facts, only as probabilities based upon a common sense interpretation of the data available.
  6.

  7. Finally, not available on the website as yet, but I have varying amounts of information of the following families, when time permits this data will be added to the database and then included in sections 1 & 2 - email me if you think you can link to any of these families :-
